About Leah & JJ

How we met

We first met in 2001 when our eyes met across a crowded trampoline...well it wasn't quite that immediate, but we did meet at UWE trampoline club during Leah's first year of university.

We started going out in 2003, and will therfore have been together nearly 6 years by the time we get married. Leah moved in with JJ just before christmas 2003 when she was still a poor student, so in exchange for free board she did the tidying!

We've come a long way since we first got together and feel that we have both changed for the better! As an example, Leah is now a lot less fussy about food and JJ is a lot more tolerant!

About Leah

Leah is a trainee solicitor and may even be a fully fledged solicitor by the wedding day! She is currently in the head injury unit of the personal injury department but hopes to specialise in employment law when she qualifies.

Leah doesn't trampoline very much anymore, but in her spare time she does enjoy going to the cinema, eating out and - occasionally - going to the gym to go swimming or to attempt some yoga!

About JJ

JJ has his own company, LiveDesign, designing and programming websites. He has built the business up and now has some prestigious clients.

JJ also runs Evolution Trampoline Club, teaching children and adults trampolining at a competitive level. JJ competed himself until his knee injury put a stop to him training.

As JJ never had pets when he was younger he recently decided that he would like pet ducks. We therefore have a total of 17 ducks at the moment, although JJ is thinking of having a 'duck eating' party soon in order to reduce numbers!!
