Wedding Gift List

We have decided not to have a conventional wedding gift list as we already have a house together. However, if you would like to give us a gift we would greatly appreciate a contribution to our honeymoon, which is being organised by Audley Travel. Although we feel that they have done a great job in organising this amazing trip we have decided to run the gift list ourselves so that any contributions can be made directly to us. There are many activities we would like to add to our itinerary and any contributions will enable us to add experiences that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford.

Some of the trips we would love to do are listed below:

ISLAND HOPPING TOUR

Island Hopping is one of a must do activity in Langkawi. Explore the waters of Langkawi. Among the highlights of the tour are The Pregnant Maiden Island and The Beras Basah Island.

Approximate cost: £19 per person.

SNORKELLING TRIP

Located in the pristine waters of Pulau Payar lies one of the world's most spectacular coral gardens. A myriad of colourful, soft corals dominate the rocky underwater seascape. Langkawi Coral is a high-speed catamaran with its own reef platform. Buffet Lunch will be served on the reef platform.

The trip includes a buffet lunch, return jetty transfer, return boat transfer, glass bottom boat, underwater observation chamber, snorkeling gears and diving gears.

Approximate cost: £64 per person.

SUNSET DINNER CRUISE

Experience the relaxing serenity but yet exciting feeling as you cruise on the Andaman Sea , while viewing the beautiful islands of Langkawi. Witness the spectacular sight of the tropical sun sinking into the horizon of the Andaman Sea . Also experience the much talked about Salt Water Jacuzzi.

Approximate cost: £69 per person.

CITY TOUR OF KUALA LUMPUR

The tour takes in Kuala Lumpur's main sites including the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the National Monument and the National Museum. The focus is on the contrast between the new and the old and the many different styles of architecture that are to be found in the city. You will also visit bustling Chinatown and Independence Square and the infamous Petronas Towers.

KINABATANGAN RIVER TRIP

A private long-tail boat will journey up one of the smaller tributaries of
the Kinabatangan River. Wildlife abounds in this part of Borneo, including chattering monkeys and many species of birds. Most evenings, troops
of these monkeys come down to the riverbank to feed, and from your boat you have the perfect vantage point. There have been increased sightings of the rare pygmy elephant recently and your experienced guide provides you with the best chance of seeing these animals.

COOKERY CLASS

An opportunity to learn how to cook traditional malaysia dishes by a local chef.

MOTOR BIKE HIRE

Hire a motorbike/scooter to exlpore the island of Langkawi.

SEA KAYAKS

Gently paddle down the ocean road to a secluded destination. A favourite journey is only a short 15 to 25 minutes paddle to the nearby Island of Rebak Kecil . Once there relax back and gaze at the Main Island of Langkawi over your sand clad feet.

CANOPY ADVENTURE

Move through sections of the islands rain forest on wires approximately 30 feet off the ground in the tree canopy itself, finishing off with a flying fox run. It is exhilarating and requires a moderate level of fitness and a sense of adventure.

LA LUNA

Elegantly set on the beach, this experience is about exclusive dining in a beautiful location. As a perfect sunset casts its warm glow across Pantai Cenang, this romantic beach setting is permeated with the sounds of cool jazz and lit by tall candelabras that cast shadows over the sea. A seven course gourmet menu is served in a tasteful manner to allow you to truly enjoy each other's company, with no interruptions or distractions - apart from the fabulous food and wine.
